PR link building through Equote, how does it work?

At Equote, we have two ways PR link building is made possible. Namely, you can send the text yourself and use only Equote to compile the target audience and send the press release.

The second option is to let us also write the content and have it checked by you. In this case we give you in advance 3 topics that the press release can be about (you can also supply a topic yourself). Once a subject is chosen, we write the press release and send it to you for review. If this is approved, the target group that receives the press release is composed based on the purchased package. Because of our experience with writing press releases, we can also guarantee more publications than if you deliver press releases yourself.

Finally, there is a choice to use your own shipping domain or Equote’s. The advantage of using your own sending domain manifests itself particularly in the opening rates and ultimately the number of publications. Our own results show that own shipping domains are more successful.

When all this is done, it is time to send out the press release. This can be done on a specific day and time, or immediately. When this is done you will receive a report with the following results within 24 hours.

  • Openingspercentage mails
  • Bouncepercentage
  • Unsubscribers
  • Links to publication(s).

Regardless of the package, you will again receive a report 7 days after sending with the final statistics and all publications.

Publicatie garantie

In all our packages we guarantee publications with links. So it cannot be that we run a campaign and nothing ends up being published with links. We at Equote have a lot of experience in the field of press releases and link placements, so we always know how to make this happen. How much we guarantee depends on the package.

What is PR linkbuilding?

Public Relations (PR) link building is a strategy that combines the principles of PR with link building, with the goal of increasing a website’s visibility and authority in search engines. Unlike traditional link building, which often revolves around obtaining links from various websites, PR link building focuses on obtaining high-quality links from news sources and media outlets.

The process involves creating newsworthy content, such as press releases, surveys, or articles, that are interesting enough to be picked up by journalists and media outlets. When this content is published on news websites or in the media, it often includes a link back to the original source (the company or organization’s website). These are valuable backlinks because they come from high-quality and reliable sources.

PR link building can result in a significant improvement in domain authority and search engine rankings, as search engines see these high-quality backlinks as a sign of reliability and relevance of the website. Moreover, it can lead to increased traffic to the website, not only through better search engine rankings, but also directly through the published content.

This strategy requires a good relationship with the media and an understanding of how to create content that is of interest to both the media and the target audience. It is a more sophisticated and often more time-intensive approach to link building, but the results can be very rewarding. Equote has been in the media for years and knows exactly how to get your press release published!

How do you write a press release?

In the age of digital communications and PR link building, press release writing is an important skill for effective link building and online visibility. A well-written press release can attract the attention of journalists and influential content creators, leading to valuable backlinks and increased online authority.

Key elements of a press release

A powerful press release begins with a clear and concise title that captures the essence of the news story. This is followed by an introduction that summarizes the main points, allowing the reader to know immediately what the gist of the message is.

The Introduction

The first paragraph or introduction of the press release should include the five W’s: Who, What, Where, When and Why. This ensures that the most critical information is communicated immediately so the journalist knows immediately what kind of information the press release has to offer.

Other content

The following paragraphs should provide additional details but remain focused and concise. Avoid using jargon or technical language unless absolutely necessary for understanding the topic or the press release is really going to targeted trade media.

Use of citations for credibility

Quotes from important people or experts within your organization add a personal and credible element to the message. Make sure these quotes are relevant, informative, and contribute directly to the main message of the press release.

Keywords and linkbuilding

Identify the most important keywords related to the subject of the press release and use them naturally in the text. Only when the content is in place is it important to integrate a link or multiple links to relevant pages on your website that contribute to the topic of the press release. Thus, these links are often adopted by journalists as well.

Increase your visibility with digital PR

Picture this: you are reading the local newspaper online and come across an article about a local company launching something you are interested in. You read the article and at the end you find a link to the company’s website. It is a natural reaction to click on this link, especially if the press release piqued your interest.

This is exactly the essence of digital PR. When you draft a press release in an effective way, you automatically increase your reach and present yourself to a new audience in a unique way. The success lies in attracting readers who are actually interested in your message – a form of smart targeting.

To take full advantage of PR link building, it is important to think carefully about the channel on which you share your press release. The chosen platform should fit not only your message, but also your intended audience. A larger platform does not always guarantee more success; sometimes a smaller but more targeted platform can be more effective. So, do you choose local or national reach?
